The 2023 KHS ALUMNI REUNION
July 14-15, 2023 @ The Midland Doubletree by Hilton Hotel
Thanks to the Great Work of Karen Green Harris and Her Team,
The 2023 KHS Alumni Reunion at the Doubletree Hilton in Midland Was a Great Success.
The Alumni started checking in at the hotel on Thursday, July 13th, and the lobby soon filled up with "Kermit Exes." Following the 'hugs and handshakes" and plenty of "Howdys", putting the bags in the room and visiting the hotel bar, many headed down the street to the Wall Street Bar & Grill for dinner. Then it was back to the hotel for a "nightcap".
On Friday the hotel ballroom was set up for us with drinks and snacks and the sign-in table was busy all day as everyone signed in, collected their name tags and photo sticks, and greeted their friends and classmates as more arrived. Each of the classes had a photo table and "Annuals" were set out, and some had beautiful memorials honoring their deceased classmates. Friday evening there was a buffet dinner across the street from the hotel at the Bush Convention Center followed by several folks headed for the hotel bars to catch up on "life's events".
Saturday morning started early with a golf tournament at Nueva Vista Golf Course, or breakfast at the hotel, followed by an afternoon of more time spent in the Ballroom visiting with our "Exes". That evening we all enjoyed a "Chicken Fried Steak" banquet at the Bush Center where we listened to the "KHS Alumni Band", directed by the current KHS Band Director, as they provided the entertainment for the crowd.
On Sunday morning the hotel restaurant was filled with alumni as they enjoyed breakfast together, said their "goodbyes", and prepared to "check-out" and head home.
It was a great reunion, and please send me your photos so they can be posted here.

Another Class of '64 "Mini Reunion"
October 1, 2022
Hosted by Anita Holmans Gregg in Mansfield, TX
"Another successful, enjoyable, and exciting "Mini Reunion" for the Class of 64! Judy and Helen are missing from the photo, but they were here with us, and we are so glad they were there. So happy to have Ken join us this time, and Larry was with us by Zoom! Lots of storytelling went on and the memory quiz showed how smart we still are, and how much we remembered - all of it! Hopefully more of you can join us next time!"
